Byg & Bajer - Creative Bar at Designmuseum Danmark
Start your Friday and the holiday season with the November edition of ”Byg & Bajer” that will focus on graphic design, tasty beers and Christmas creativity.
Take a stroll in our exhibitions or hang out in Klint Café that will be serving our brand-new Flexibility-beer, gin & tonics, traditional Danish pork sandwiches, sweet potato fries while our DJ puts you in a festive Friday mood. Our shop will be open where you can buy your Christmas presents.
Grab a Flexibility newspaper and read about our new museum font and use it to make geometric Christmas ornaments or to wrap your Christmas presents Origata-style.
Experience our brand new museum plaza created by COBE, where you can see the exhibition ” Sharing” with contemporary Danish Design.
Designmuseum Danmark digitalized the font “Flexibility”, which was created by the Danish architect and graphic designer Naur Klint (1920-1978), in connection with the launch of the museum’s new visual identity. The font, which is also called “Denmark’s first system font” had been forgotten in the museum’s archives.
The process has been a close co-operation between the museum and Naur Klint’s grandson – the architect and Associate Professor Lars Klint – and Urgent.Agency.
Now it’s emerging on the international scene as part of the museum’s new visual profile.
