GRAPHIC CHRISTMAS PRESENT WORKSHOP FOR FAMILIES

Four Saturdays in November and December, children and their adults can visit Designmuseum Denmark’s cozy Christmas present workshop and create their own graphic prints to put under the Christmas tree. With inspiration from the motifs in designer Albertine Brask’s whimsical Christmas decorations that adorn this year’s Christmas tree at the museum, children aged 9 and up can carve out their own motifs on linoleum boards, while those aged 3 to 9 can design prints using printing blocks in different shapes. The works are immortalized with printing ink on thick paper.

The Christmas present workshop is a space for immersion with a focus on the creative process and the exploration of various craft techniques and good materials.

Tickets cost DKK 50 per participant (price for materials). Please note that there is a limited number of tickets for each workshop at 10-12.30 and again at 13.30-16. It is optional when you come in the time slot for the workshop for which you have bought a ticket.
