We obtain data directly for payroll and staff administration, including from the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT), and for press activities through research. For marketing purposes, we collect data directly via cookies and through Google Analytics. Cookies are used for analysis and performance measurement on our website.<\/p>\n When you sign up for newsletters or events, we only register the information you provide. For donations, we likewise only register the information you provide and disclose it to SKAT for tax deduction purposes with your consent.<\/p>\n Documentation and retention requirements under the Danish Bookkeeping Act mean that we must store information related to financial transactions for at least five years in accordance with the Act.<\/p>\n Furthermore, we conduct video surveillance on museum premises in accordance with applicable regulations. These recordings are stored for 30 days.<\/p>\n Other Data Processors<\/strong><\/p>\n We treat personal data confidentially and do not disclose or sell personal data to third parties. However, personal data may be entrusted to external partners when we request these partners to process data on our behalf\u2014for example, in relation to our library system. These companies act as data processors and may only process data according to our instructions. Data processors may not use the data for purposes other than fulfilling their agreement with us and are bound by confidentiality. We have therefore entered into written agreements with all data processors handling personal data on our behalf.
