On two Saturdays in January, you can slow down at Designmuseum Danmark and make your very own sketchbook.

In the museum’s workshop, imagination is given free rein. The family workshop is for children and their accompanying adults who would like to learn a small craft together. This time, we’ll be sewing small sketchbooks from beautiful, old papers, magazines and posters from the archives, and decorating them with beads on string. Used materials are given new life, and creativity is free to take over.

The workshop is inspired by the exhibition Laboratorium: Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen and revolves around the place where design begins: in sketches, lines, and the very first tentative ideas. There is room here for immersion, curiosity, and messy fingers.
