Designmuseum Danmark Joins CopenPay

Designmuseum Danmark is participating in CopenPay with a special offer: a free filter coffee for visitors who bring a reusable cup.

This summer, Designmuseum Danmark joins CopenPay. An initiative launched by Wonderful Copenhagen, the official tourism organisation for the Capital Region, to reward responsible choices with cultural experiences. As part of the programme, the museum’s outdoor café, Lille Format, will offer a free cup of filter coffee to guests who bring their own reusable cup between 17 June and 17 August. Visitors may bring any clean, reusable cup, such as a personal thermos or one purchased in the museum shop.

CopenPay was introduced in 2024 as a pilot project and has now expanded to include 90 attractions across Copenhagen and the surrounding area. Running for nine weeks, the initiative aims to encourage more sustainable behaviour among visitors during their stay.

Facts:

  • This is Designmuseum Danmark’s first year participating in CopenPay.

  • CopenPay now includes 90 cultural institutions and visitor experiences.

  • The offer of free coffee or tea applies when guests bring a reusable cup.

  • Valid Thursday to Sunday throughout the CopenPay period (17 June to 17 August 2025).

  • Café Lille Format is located on the forecourt of Designmuseum Danmark, Bredgade 68, 1260 Copenhagen K.
