Event
Culture Night: Designmuseum Danmark
Friday 10 October, 18.00-00.00
Design after dark.
Eight exhibitions, three concerts, a creative workshop, light projections on the facade and chili con carne in the café. It might sound like a festival, but it’s just one evening at Designmuseum Danmark during Culture Night.
The museum remains open until midnight, offering visitors a chance to explore the history of design in a relaxed evening atmosphere. In the Banquet Hall, guests can participate in block printing workshops inspired by the current exhibition The Power of Print. Outside, the building’s facade is illuminated by light projections from the artist collective Tokyo Blue, whose work interacts with the architecture and draws on themes from The Power of Print.
The night’s music lineup includes DJ Nicka from Stella Polaris, who will play throughout the evening, electronic jazz by Cort Lunde and Danish-language pop with an edge from Karoline Funder.
Admission to all events is free with a Culture Pass.
