Make your own Christmas decorations at Designmuseum Danmark – a little more handmade, and a little more magical.

This December, Designmuseum Danmark invites families to experience museum’s new open workshop, where visitors of all ages can craft their own Christmas decorations – from shimmering stars to soft fabric bells and colourful tree ornaments.

Between 10.00 and 15.00, the space buzzes with scissors, thread and creative kids (and their grown-ups). It’s a place for slowing down, where children can explore materials, try their hand at sewing and create something entirely their own.

Admission
The workshop is free to join with a museum ticket. Children under 18 enjoy free admission to the museum but must still register for a ticket. If the workshop is full, why not begin with a stroll through the exhibitions and return a little later?
