Experiment with shibori, patterns, and color in Designmuseum Danmark’s green oasis, the museum garden.

Shibori is a traditional Japanese technique where folding and dyeing with indigo creates patterns on fabric. Join us as we experiment with rubber bands, clips, and clothespins to dye socks.

The family workshop is a space for immersion, where children can explore a craft, experiment with materials, and create unique works. The workshop draws inspiration from the museum’s new exhibition: THE POWER OF PRINT, which showcases textiles by the greatest Danish fabric printers throughout history, alongside new textiles by a selection of today’s most skilled textile artists.
