Saffron yellow, cobalt blue and coral pink. Summer may be drawing to a close, but the colours linger a little longer. Especially at Designmuseum Danmark’s family workshop, where children and their grown-ups are invited to design their own silk scarves.

In the exhibition The Eternal Smile, artist Nikoline Liv Andersen transforms textiles into vibrant works of art. Inspired by her colourful creations, children will have the opportunity to paint on silk and design a scarf of their very own. There will be plenty of room to experiment with colours, let them blend and flow together, and discover the patterns that emerge along the way.

Participants will be introduced to the basics of silk painting, and once completed, the scarf can be taken home as a personal memory from a creative day at the museum. All materials are included.

Paint on silk and design your very own scarve.
