Reduced admission in January

Reduced admission at Designmuseum Danmark between January 2 and 15, 2026.

Between January 2 and 15, 2026, Designmuseum Danmark can be visited at a reduced admission price, as the museum is in the process of installing new exhibitions. Visitors can still explore the museum’s major collection displays, including the popular Danish Modern exhibition and the museum’s iconic chair tunnel, while some areas in the special exhibition wing will be temporarily closed.

The museum café FORMAT will be closed from January 2 to 12 due to renovation while the small café in front of the museum will remain open with a limited selection of food and beverages.

During this period, admission is reduced to:

  • Adults: 100 DKK.
  • Young people and students: 75 DKK.

The new exhibition LABORATORIUM: Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen opens on Friday, January 16, after which normal admission prices apply. Thursday, January 15, is the last day with reduced admission.

Designmuseum Danmark looks forward to welcoming guests into the museum while preparing for the new exhibitions.

Please note: The reduced prices apply only to tickets purchased at the museum’s ticket desk and not to online purchases. It is not possible to receive a refund of the price difference for online tickets.
