3DAYSOFDESIGN: FRIDAY
Friday, 12 June, 10-20
The third and final day of the festival focuses on aesthetics, responsibility, and scalability in design, from conversations exploring imperfection as a value to circular business models and systemic design. The day concludes with the opening of LABORATORIUM: Kontrapunkt, where design narratives and visual identities unfold in practice.
PROGRAMME FOR FRIDAY AT 3DAYSOFDESIGN:
13:00–13:45: Imperfect aesthetics – perfect or not so perfect?
This debate draws on insights from design experiments to explore how imperfections can represent a cultural stance on what is valued, preserved, and discarded. The conversation examines how flaws, traces, patina, and material irregularities should no longer be seen as weaknesses, but as a new form of aesthetic.
