Join us during the 3daysofdesign festival, as Designmuseum Danmark invites you to three days of reflection on the past, present and future of Danish design.

As part of the 3daysofdesign festival, Designmuseum Danmark will host a series of talks, exhibitions, and engaging activities from 18 to 20 June. 10-20: Exhibition: Well Made

The act of making has long been central to human and cultural progress, driven by ingenuity and the pursuit of excellence. In the modern age, however, this creative force has been industrialised, commercialised, and globalised, resulting in complex social, economic, and environmental consequences.

Curated by Pearson Lloyd, this exhibition invites visitors to reconsider what it means to be ‘well made’ in an age of ecological urgency. The second instalment in the Well Made series, Godt Lavet explores new approaches to production and materiality, with contributions from the local community responding to themes first posed at Pearson Lloyd’s London studio and gallery in 2024.

THURSDAY JUNE 19

From morning coffee with designer Erwan Bouroullec to an afternoon salon hosted by the Danish Design Council, the day presents design as a shared narrative shaped by cross-cultural collaboration, shifting consumption patterns, and visionary approaches to form and function. At its heart is a meeting of Danish lifestyle and global perspectives, where figures such as Edition Denmark, Spacon, and The Circular Furniture Network use furniture, food, and materials as mediums for fresh ideas.
