EVENT
Family Workshop: Ceramics
Sunday 12 October, Tuesday 14 October, Thursday 16 October & Sunday 19 October from 10-15
Design and craft your own small ceramic vase using self-hardening clay taking inspiration from the museum’s beautiful architecture.
This autumn, we invite families into the Banquet Hall, a historic space usually closed to the public, for a workshop experience. Here, creativity meets calm: a hands-on environment designed for focus, play and discovery. Children will have the chance to explore materials and techniques and get a taste of the design process along the way.
The workshop is open and informal, allowing families to drop in throughout the day. Whether you’re staying for a quick try or an hour of making, there’s room to experiment and enjoy.

Vases in all shapes and colours.

The self-hardening clay can be moulded around a form.

Families are welcome. Come and create something together.

Children are invited to experiment with materials and techniques.
