Join us for an engaging lecture with designer, educator, and collector Matt Lamont, the driving force behind the platform Design Reviewed. This platform connects students and professionals with graphic design history through a personal archive of over 5,000 books, magazines, catalogues, posters, and other printed materials. The archive generates more than 61,000 monthly views and has become a popular resource for design professionals around the globe.

In this lecture, Matt Lamont will guide us through key themes from his impressive design archive and discuss how history intertwines with contemporary design practices. Attendees will also have the opportunity to browse through 100 carefully selected graphic design artifacts, which Matt will bring with him from the UK.

ABOUT MATT LAMONT
Matt Lamont is a designer, collector, educator, and speaker with a deep passion for research-driven design. As a co-founder of Out of Place Studio, a research-focused design company specialising in graphic design and web development, he has been involved in major projects for clients such as Heart Research UK, the Natural History Museum, and Children’s Heart Research Fund.
