Artist Veronica Hodges is renowned for her installations, which draw inspiration from the natural world. At Designmuseum Danmark, she invites visitors to engage in a unique creative process, contributing to a collective artwork that forms part of her larger project, The Golden Sky.

For Hodges, The Golden Sky represents a vision for societal transformation. It raises profound questions: How can we think and live differently? What changes must we make to our communities and our environment to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come? Change, of course, is never easy. But Hodges believes that by coming together, we can pave the way for a new way of living.

It is this belief that underpins her invitation to the public: anyone interested is welcome to join her in crafting ‘a golden sky’. Over the course of seven workshops, participants will not only help create a piece of art but also have the opportunity to meet the artist, discuss the possibilities for societal reinvention, and reflect on how we might reshape our world for the better. All the while, they’ll be cutting paper, sharing ideas, and adding their touch to the evolving artwork.

It’s a project that welcomes all, regardless of age, and invites people to drop in and contribute at their leisure. The workshops are free to attend, ensuring that this collaborative experience is open to all who are eager to participate in this creative dialogue for change.
