COPENHAGEN JAZZ FESTIVAL: Johanne Linnea Jacobsen and Cort Lunde
Friday, 3 July, 19-22
Leave the everyday behind and spark your curiosity with musical stories about design, nature, and culture, leaving you a little wiser about, among other things, the Trinidad Chair and the indigo flower.
Designmuseum Danmark invites you to a summer evening of jazz in the museum garden. Swedish star saxophonist and vocalist Johanne Linnea Jacobsen opens the evening with an intimate duo set featuring songs from her album Don’t Overthink It.
Next, Cort Lunde presents a series of compositions created especially for Designmuseum Denmark, inspired by Danish design classics. Expect jazz-infused beat music with presence, intensity, and rhythms that both soothe and set your foot tapping.
Following a short talk with Cort Lunde, Katrine Ring concludes the evening with a DJ set inspired by the museum’s beautiful surroundings.
