Admission
Participation in the workshop is included in your museum ticket. Children under 18 enjoy free admission but must still book an entry ticket. If the workshop is busy, we recommend beginning your visit in the exhibitions and returning a bit later.

Design and craft your own vase using self-hardening clay taking inspiration from the museum’s beautiful architecture.

This autumn, we invite families into the Banquet Hall, a historic space usually closed to the public, for a workshop experience. Children will have the chance to explore materials and techniques and get a taste of the design process along the way.

The workshop is open and informal, allowing families to drop in throughout the day. Whether you’re staying for a quick try or an hour of making, there’s room to experiment and enjoy.

Vases in all shapes and colours.

The self-hardening clay can be moulded around a form.

Families are welcome. Come and create something together.

Children are invited to experiment with materials and techniques.
