EVENT
CPH:DOX: WHEN ARCHITECTURE SHAPES COMMUNITY
Thursday, 12 March, from 17.00-19.15.
Designmuseum Danmark, in collaboration with CPH:DOX, presents a cinematic exploration of how architecture shapes community and local identity.
The Silo and Us is a documentary that examines what buildings mean for the way we understand ourselves. In partnership with CPH:DOX and CAFx, Designmuseum Danmark invites you to an evening dedicated to architecture, urban development, and the stories our buildings carry with them. Through a powerful cinematic narrative, the film explores the role of architecture in everyday life as a framework for community, memory, and change—placing local identity, preservation, and renewal at the center.
The evening opens with an introduction by Vibe Worning, Director of Projekt 4850, who will contextualize the film and open a conversation about how buildings can be both rooted in history and oriented toward the future. How do we strike a balance between preserving what has shaped us and making space for renewal and new needs?
