Children's workshop: Design colourful hand fans
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 10 and 13.30
Stripes, dots and plenty of colours! During the autumn holidays, Designmuseum Danmark invites children and their grown-ups to a creative family workshop to make colourful hand fans inspired by Henrik Vibskov’s playful universe.
Henrik Vibskov is known for his love of quirky patterns, vibrant colours and unexpected shapes – and in his world, nothing is too bold. Taking inspiration from his imaginative designs, participants will have the chance to cut, draw, colour and decorate a hand fan of their very own. Will it feature dots, stripes, zigzags or something no one has ever thought of before? That’s entirely up to you.
Along the way, you’ll discover how colours and patterns can transform an ordinary piece of paper into an exciting design. Once finished, the fan can be taken home as a colourful keepsake from a fun day at the museum. All materials are included.
