This Easter, join us at the Design Workshop for a fun, hands-on creative experience where families and children can design their own colourful fabric flowers using recycled textiles from Textilia (formerly De Forenede Dampvaskerier).

The workshop is part of the ongoing exhibition AKUT #6: FABRIC OF CHANGE, showcasing how used textiles can be upcycled into new, beautiful products. Discover how an old napkin or a vintage tablecloth from Tivoli’s Grøften can be transformed into a stunning flower using simple craft techniques. Each participant can design up to three flowers and take home a lovely fabric bouquet. There will also be an opportunity to create other everyday designs, such as a small quilted purse or pencil case.

This is a space for creativity and focus, where children can explore various craft techniques with high-quality materials.

Recommended age:
For children from 7 years old. The workshop is for children and young people under 18, accompanied by an adult.
